In our politically correct society we are always worried about making people feel bad and not speaking the truth because we know that someone has a different view than us. I hope that anyone who sees me on a wrong path will love me enough to tell me my error so that it will produce a healthy repentence in me and redirect my path towards my walk with God.

2 Corinthians 7:8-15 (New International Version)
8Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it—I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while— 9yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 11See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. 12So even though I wrote to you, it was not on account of the one who did the wrong or of the injured party, but rather that before God you could see for yourselves how devoted to us you are. 13By all this we are encouraged.
In addition to our own encouragement, we were especially delighted to see how happy Titus was, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you. 14I had boasted to him about you, and you have not embarrassed me. But just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting about you to Titus has proved to be true as well. 15And his affection for you is all the greater when he remembers that you were all obedient, receiving him with fear and trembling.

The sermon today was on Psalm 13. I always thought it was an example of how God answers prayer at the beginning David is crying out to God and telling him not to hide his face. We know that God never hides from us it is always us not having our priorities straight that we turn from him. Anyway David was talking to God and by the end of the psalm God changed David and he has a heart change by talking to God and starts to praise him instead of accusing him of being absent. I think it is a call to bring all of our anxieties to God instead of complaining to people who cannot change things anyway and God will minimize the things that are bothering us and help us focus on Him and rejoice.

Going to help someone new move to town. I just have the address not the name yet. Great to meet new people. After the move I am going Geo Caching with Jonah and Eli. I feel like I am part of National Treasure.

Another week has passed and the weekend is here. I look forward to time with friends and family. Eli and Sai had football practice today. Jonah has Becca over and My lovely wife made us all supper. Now we need a plan.
